The credential application for the 2025 Cricket Celebration Bowl is currently OPEN.

To ensure that all qualified media agencies have the appropriate access and working space, these guidelines and policies have been developed by the Cricket Celebration Bowl (CB) in coordination with ESPN Events and participating institutions.

Requests for credentials must be submitted through the official credentialing system. Credential requests will be considered only if submitted by the sports editor, sports director/producer, or photo editor. Each application will be evaluated on its own merits. Membership in a writers’ or broadcasters’ association does not automatically qualify a media outlet or individual for credentials. Prior credentialing for other games or major events does not guarantee access for this event.

By applying for a credential, the applicant confirms they have read, understand, and agree to the following professional guidelines and policies.

The credential application deadline is December 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET

For questions concerning the credential application, please contact A.D. Drew, Celebration Bowl Media Coordinator at [email protected]

Eligibility

  1. Working Media Only – Credentials may be issued to working members of the media representing recognized outlets whose primary business is news gathering. CB, in conjunction with ESPN Events and participating institutions, will determine eligibility.
      • Eligible outlets may include:
        • Newspapers, magazines, websites, and wire services
        • College football publications
        • Television and radio broadcasters
      • Dissemination of original editorial content must be the outlet’s primary purpose, with a proven record of sustained, original college football coverage.
      • Local outlets must show sustained coverage of local sports and/or the participating institution.
      • Outlets distributing solely aggregated or unoriginal content are not eligible.
      • All outlets must adhere to CB’s “Use of Footage” and “Digital and Online” policies.
  2. Priority Consideration – Outlets covering all home games of a participating institution during the season will receive priority, though this does not guarantee credentials.
  3. National Coverage – Media outside the local or team markets will be considered case-by-case, with preference for outlets covering multiple nationally ranked matchups.
  4. Assignment Verification – Only personnel assigned to cover the game by their editor or producer will be credentialed. Credentials are non-transferable and may be revoked at CB’s discretion.
  5. Photographers – Priority given to outlets needing immediate news coverage. Photo agencies will be evaluated individually.
  6. Diversity of Coverage – Media enterprises serving ethnically, socially, or culturally diverse audiences may receive credentials if space allows.
  7. Freelancers – Must have a confirmed assignment from an eligible outlet, with applications submitted by an editor/producer.
  8. International Outlets – Considered if space allows; CB may verify with AIPS.

Credential Policies

  1. Video Clips – No in-game video clips (live or otherwise) may be posted online or via social media. Still photos are permitted during the game.
  2. Commercial Use – Non-editorial or commercial use of any event imagery, audio, or video is prohibited without written authorization from CB/ESPN Events.
  3. Internet Access – For work purposes only in all media areas. Violators risk loss of credential and/or internet access.
  4. Professional Conduct – Media must maintain a quiet, respectful environment in all work areas.
