GVP Director of Marketing – Purpose, Activation, and Engagement

Roderick has more than 20 years of marketing experience in varying capacities with AT&T, Cox Communication, and SunTrust. He joined SunTrust in 2012 negotiating sponsorship agreements for the Sports and Entertainment Group (SEG) as well as other properties across the footprint (ex. Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Ryman Auditorium, DC United, etc.).

As Group Vice President – Purpose, Activation, and Engagement, Roderick is responsible for overseeing the development and co-creation of strategy, design, and implementation to support the Movement within the Communities channel. He works closely with SunTrust Foundation, Inclusion and CRA officers, as the channel lead to align initiatives to appropriate marketing strategies.

Roderick has a bachelor’s degree in Business from North Carolina A&T State University and an MBA from Georgia State University.
