Larry Kennedy, Jr. is the Riddell Sports National Elite Player Liaison and NFL/NCAA Key Account Manager (Atlantic Coast). He’s been a proud member of the Riddell family for the past 19 years. With over 23 years of experience working in the athletic industry Larry has been a devoted enthusiasts of athletics.  Larry’s experience in athletics is expansive. He has been a football player, high school coach, camps/combines participant, sports consultant, league commissioner, All-American games state director, keynote speaker, co-host “Primetime with The Packman” Charlotte’s #1 rated sports talk show, IFL team president, minority owner of the Carolina Speed and president of Diamond Sports Group.

Before earning an athletic scholarship to the University of Florida Larry earned high school USA Today 1st team All-American, Parade Magazine 1st team All-American and was #1 rated defensive back in the country by Parade Magazine. At the University of Florida Larry was a 4 year starter defensive back, ’91-‘94, freshman All-American, ’94, 1st team All-SEC defensive back and selected as team captain, ’94.

Larry’s football career includes Training Camp with the Miami Dolphins, playing professionally with the Düsseldorf Rhein fire, NFL Europe and the Tampa Bay Storm, Arena Football.

Larry is a proven leader in the field of athletics.  He is a dedicated advocate for primary and secondary youth as well as the collegiate level students through mentorship. Larry has been a finalist for the 2017-18 Hope Givers for Samaritan’s Feet International Person of the Year Award.


Larry Graduated from the University of Florida where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice.
