Dan Ford is an Online Business & Strategy Project Manager for Home Depot’s ecommerce business, co- founder and President of the Atlanta Historical Black Colleges and Universities Alumni Alliance and a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. He is a community leader with a passion for helping young men and women achieve their dreams.

Mr. Ford graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Economics and has, over the past 19 years, held various leadership positions in the area of supply chain and project management.

Mr. Ford began his career in Research Triangle Park, N.C. as a transportation analyst for a French based multinational firm. In 1997 he moved from Durham, N.C. to Atlanta to head up the company’s North America customer service and logistics department for their animal nutrition division.

Applying lessons learned from his experience in management, Mr. Ford, a former Chapter President of NCA&T State University National Alumni Association’s Atlanta Chapter, successfully grew The Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance, a non-profit advocacy organization for HBCU alumni associations, from 8 to over 50+ alumni chapters within the Atlanta metro market as well as guided the launch of the Washington D.C. Alumni Alliance. To date both HBCU Alumni Alliances have raised and distributed approximately $1,000,000 in scholarship money and services to Atlanta and Washington DC college bound students as well as supported over 100+ local HBCU alumni chapters in the Atlanta and DMV markets combined.
