4:00 pm – Water Safety Festival and Developmental Swim Meet at Morehouse College
- The in-water clinic with stations that include water safety, scuba diving, water polo, and a diving exposition.
- Development swim meet with five local swim teams (6 – 18 years old) participating.
- Awards presented at the end, and a dedication given to the former aquatic director (Harold “Bingo” Head), who passed away this summer.
- 14 vendors (local swim clubs, American Red Cross, One America Financials, etc.) on site in the gym.
Saturday, December 14: HBCU Celebration Swim Meet – Morehouse College
6:00 am – Pool opens for warm-up
7:00 am – Meet begins
- HBCU (Undergraduate) Teams from Norfolk, Grambling, Spelman, FAMU, and Howard (Diving expo).
- Alumni from HBCUs will be competing for their institution along with US Master Swimming Clubs to include two Divine Nine relay teams.
10:30 am – Awards & Lunch
12:00 noon – Cricket Celebration Bowl
6:00 pm – DIA Fundraiser at Atlantucky Brewing – 170 Northside Dr SW, Atlanta, Ga 30313
